Customer portal · 2026

TowFusion

A marketing site and a customer portal for a towing-industry brand in our group: staff see every account, customers see their own Google Business Profile performance.

Live in production: marketing site and portal, database connected and verified. It is one of our own brands, not a client.

What we built

The decisions behind it.

01

A portfolio view for staff

Staff see every customer account in one place, instead of an admin login that hit a dead end.

02

A dashboard customers can read

Each customer sees their Google Business Profile performance: views, interactions, calls, direction requests, website clicks, chat, bookings, search terms and the platform split.

03

Three ways to read the same numbers

A funnel, a breakdown and a month-over-month comparison.

04

Read-only by design

Staff enter the figures; customers can look but not change them.

Structure

What's in it.

  • Customer dashboard
  • Visibility metrics
  • Accounts
  • Marketing site

Stack

  • Next.js

Services involved: Custom software & web apps, Websites.

Lesson

What it taught us

A portal is only as useful as its emptiest screen. The first version left the admin account at "No customer linked". Designing for the person with nothing yet is part of the job.
